This course is located
on the Bay Harbor Island. Locals consider it as being one of the
most exclusive clubs in Southern Florida, boasting of members like
Joe DiMaggio and Sylvester Stallone. The signature hole is #13,
a 150-yard, par 3, featuring several trees lining the fairway and
bunkers surrounding the entire green. The original architect was
HCC Tippets in 1927, Robert Trent Jones redesigned it in 1953, and
Jack Nicklaus redesigned it in 1995. |

This course features
several dogleg fairways, and water hazards come into play on fourteen
holes. Playing this course previously is a real advantage. Many
of the water hazards are hidden from view and you don't realize
they are there until you're in them. Mark Mahannah redesigned this
course in the 1950's. Walking is restricted to weekdays and late
afternoons on weekends. There are discounts for Dade County residents. |

that survived. The longest hole on the course is 195 yards. This
facility also includes a regulation eighteen hole course.

This is a short, easy par 3 course
that features narrow fairways and lined with many oak trees. Water
hazards come into play on a few occasions, and some sand bunkers

The
Royal Mougins Golf Club is a private golf club established
in 1993 for the privilege of the Club’s members and their
invited guests. It is located in Mougins, just 10 minutes from Cannes,
in a beautiful peaceful valley with gentle rolling hills. The
18-hole golf course was designed by Robert von Hagge who has created
a challenging course for both professional players and beginner
golfers alike. It is a par 71 with a length of 6004 metres. The
picturesque course features 8 lakes linked together with a river
system of waterfalls and streams. Royal Mougins is part of the association ‘The Finest Golf Clubs of the World’.

Just
half an hour from Cannes, in the Var department, the St
Endréol Golf Course sits in 145 hectares of land
in the heart of a forest of parasol pines, with the river Endre
meandering through the forest and dominated by the magnificent Rock
of Roquebrune The spectacular 18-hole course of 6219 metres, with
a par of 72, was created by the architect Michel Gayon around this
varied landscape. Each of the holes has its own personality, such
as the 13th with its sheer drop onto the green set in the river.
It is a golf course fast acquiring a well-deserved reputation.

Roquebrune golf course follows the foothills of the Maures
Mountains and has the advantage of a unique panoramic view of the
bay of Fréjus, the Estérel and the local countryside.
It is located a few kilometres from the village of Roquebrune-sur-Argens
in beautiful natural surroundings. The course is 18 holes over 6031
metres and has a par of 71. |

The
Estérel Golf Course is barely 3km from the sandy
beaches of St Raphaël and it covers 40 hectares of pine forest
reaching down to the sea. The area was much appreciated by the English
aristocracy during the 19th century for its climate. Designed by
Robert Trent Jones in 1989, it is a varied course where each hole
requires a different approach. It is a pleasant course to discover,
as it is not too undulating. It is a par 71 with a length of 5852
metres.

golf course is set in the Lubéron, with fabulous views out
over the Durance Valley and the village of Mallemort.
It takes its name from the structure visible from the 5th hole.
The course was created by the golfer Severiano Ballesteros, who
has designed several successful courses in Spain and it offers a
challenging game to all levels of golfers. It is classed as being
among the top European golf courses. Its 18 holes have a par of
72 over a length of 6303 metres.

course at Barbaroux lies in several hectares of vineyards
and wooded landscape, near the market town of Brignoles, and is renowned
as being one of Europe’s most prestigious courses. Designed
by the American architects, Peter and PB Dye, it has 6 vast lakes
and combines a love of nature with technical ability. Its 18-holes
course has a par of 72 over 6068 metres. The region boasts 300 days
of sunshine a year and Barbaroux has dry and sunny winters, permitting
the golfer to play year-round. |
